Cosmetics: common questions
Which coating resists perfume alcohol?
The Base, metallization and Top Coat system is tested with alcohol and fragrance. The resistance level depends on the formulation and the cure, and we validate it with the customer's product.
Can plastic caps and bottles be metallized?
Yes, with a UV base coat suited to the plastic, vacuum metallization and Top Coat.
Does fragrance attack the finish?
Fragrances contain solvents that can stain or soften weak finishes. That is why we test the system with the customer's fragrance.
Is there a soft-touch finish for packaging?
Yes. The effects line includes soft touch, piano black and wet look.
Shall we test it on your part?
Send us the material and the finish you want.
